Birds – Damage And Disease

Pigeons downtown create aesthetic and health concerns for the cities, merchants, and their customers.

Pigeon (or other bird) droppings damage buildings and can carry parasites and fungus that can harm humans.

Weapons in the war against pigeons range from a passive approach like using “electrical or sound deterrents” to architectural changes. In certain areas, capture and eventual extermination is required.

Although care is taken to select a trapping and extermination method that does not capture or harm other species such as seagulls, and realizing this may be offensive to some groups, it is then, imperative to “STOP” feeding pesty birds so they move on.
