Damage Control And Disease Prevention
When wildlife enter the premises of civilians, they leave behind not only destruction, but contamination that is a serious health hazard, as well.
As part of Eastons Wildlife Management Services we clean, disinfect and dispose of this bio-hazard contamination while leaving a temporary closure to prevent further entry.
Raccoons, bats, squirrels and rodents often invade a home without the owners being aware of their presence. These animals can contaminate your home with bio-hazard contaminates leaving the home’s occupants and their pets susceptible to disease and other maladies.
Bats are the most well known specie that have lethal potential from their droppings but few people are aware of the ailments caused by airborne spores from these contaminates.
Raccoons and opossums leave behind droppings that contain contaminates that, when breathed in, can cause liver and kidney damage in humans.
Many people are exposed to these viruses, often by rummaging around in their attics, totally unaware of what they are dealing with.
Eastons staff of trained professionals continually upgrades their knowledge of the latest biological information to stay aware of potential health hazards. They are thus able to take knowledgeable precautions to prevent further spread of any contaminates and diseases.
In the most extreme cases, it can cost several thousand dollars to insure the premises are restored to their correct levels for a healthy environment. The earlier the situation is addressed the less chance of costly repairs of this magnitude.
This is no place for a DO IT YOURSELF HANDYMAN.
Most medical centres are not trained to recognize wildlife diseases, and thus most ailments caused by wildlife, are misdiagnosed with the result of long term illness.
The most common symptoms of wildlife diseases are similar to:
- Influenza,
- Flu,
- Lethargy,
- General weakness of the bones and muscle structure,
- Prolonged spasms of cough,
- General run down feeling.
As the symptoms persist and medical intervention is delayed the infection continues to devastate tissue in the lungs and organs.
Wildlife Management Services provides:
- Bio-hazard removal
- Disposal of debris
- Disinfect and deodorizing treatments
With our knowledge and expertise you can rest assured that your residence and/or commercial buildings will be free from airborne contaminations.
We offer a complete service package with reasonable rates. Contact us for details.
Birds – Damage And Disease
Pigeons downtown create aesthetic and health concerns for the cities, merchants, and their customers.
Pigeon (or other bird) droppings damage buildings and can carry parasites and fungus that can harm humans.
Weapons in the war against pigeons range from a passive approach like using electrical or sound deterrents to architectural changes. In certain areas, capture and eventual extermination is required.
Although care is taken to select a trapping and extermination method that does not capture or harm other species such as seagulls, and realizing this may be offensive to some groups, it is then, imperative to STOP feeding pesty birds so they move on.
I have found that most of the problems of wildlife in urban areas are created by Friendly Helpers whom are feeding them.

REMEMBER: A high ridge along a stretch of businesses makes a perfect roosting place for birds, and a target below for those unaware. A few crumbs from a helping host becomes a feast to those above.
